The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is one of over 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide. Since 1968, the vision of The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley has been to provide every child with the essential tools needed for a successful and bright future.
Every day, The Club strives to improve each child’s life by instilling self-esteem, courage, and positive values through all of our educational programs. Our youth come to The Club to receive tutoring, homework assistance, computer training, sports, social recreation, education, mentoring, arts & crafts and so much more. Our members gain confidence by developing a sense of usefulness, competence and belonging.
This is accomplished by providing:
A safe haven away from negative influences An ongoing relationship with trained, caring adult role models Constructive, supervised programs that are sensitive to the needs of youth at-risk Guidance and encouragement in educational and career endeavors Positive programs that encourage strong values, self-esteem and a healthy lifestyle A solid gang prevention and intervention initiative A vision of life beyond adolescence Facilitation and reinforcement of a positive peer group environment Family support Measurable outcomes
