Why we do this?
Many times grabbing a fast bite to eat narrows your choices to fast foods and lots of unhealthy options. We wanted to give people the choice of eating healthy food made with real ingredients even if they are on the run.
What is organic?
Organic is farming without modern toxic chemicals, abstinence from any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. Environmental protection of lands surrounding the farmed area and maintaining and replenishing the soil. Organic farming is better for the earth and a healthy way to consume your food.
What does “natural” mean to us?
Natural means real high quality food not laden with chemicals and preservatives; unprocessed and in its purest state.
Where does our food come from?
We buy all of our food from reputable companies that have been in business for a long time. We feel it is safer to buy food from companies that bring you the food at the proper temperature and keep track of the food from farm and field to packaging and delivery. Even though our food is all prepared from scratch we receive all of our basic refrigerator and pantry items from restaurant safe companies that are state compliant and know how to properly store and distribute the food we are going to prepare.
What is in our food?
As our guest you have the right to know how we make our recipes and the ingredients we use.
All of our recipes are prepared in our own commercial kitchen in the Valencia Commerce Center, under food safe preparations and under health department guidelines. We are proud to say our kitchen has always received an A grade. We only buy whole and real ingredients, unbleached flour, cage free eggs, local natural chicken and turkey with no hormones and not plumped, delivered to us fresh not frozen. We do not use corn syrup, lard or canola oil, we have no preservatives or additives and the tofu we use is organic and non GMO. All of our soy, almond and dairy milks are certified organic.
What is in our drinks?
In our pressed juices we just add real organic fruit, no bottled juice and no fake added flavors. We press the juice and serve it to you, plain and simple. Our produce is local and delivered by an organic produce company that has been in business over 10 years. The boosts we use are all organic, vegan and non-GMO. Our teas are all from organic estates that are certified organic and fair trade. We carry organic soy, almond and dairy milk and yes we do not carry any sodas.
How do we keep up?
In this ever-changing world of advanced technology and new methods of farming and producing food, we feel obligated to keep up with what is going on in the world. We keep informed by attending trade shows, reading clinical studies and maintaining a close relationship with our food providers.
Our food companies keep us on alert of any recalls or natural disasters that could impact the food we serve. We are always reading and researching and taking pride in how we run our business.
